Oak 2 Drawer Desk Top File - $450

13 1/2" wide x 16" deep x 10" high.

Here we have a 2 - drawer desk top file made by the Yawman and Erbe Co. of Rochester, N.Y. at the turn of the 20th century. In 1880, Philip H. Yawman and Gustav Erbe, two former employees of Bausch and Lomb of Rochester, N.Y., branched out on their own. They built Yawman and Erbe Co. to be one of the largest producers of high quality office products in the world. This quarter sawn file is dovetailed and still has the original hardware with the name inscribed on it and the Yawman and Erbe label. This is a perfect place to store your CDs, and they fit snugly inside the drawers. This file would make a great gift with a wonderful history to it.
