Oak Larkin Library Table - $695.00

37" wide x 25" deep x 29 1/2" high.

This solid Oak Larkin Library Table was manufactured at the turn of the 20th century. It was made at the Larkin factory in Buffalo, New York, which was booming at that time. Many collectors look exclusively for Larkin pieces from that era. This library table has a single drawer, and could be used either as a small desk or an accessory piece. All four sides have incised carving, one of which is the drawer. The legs, also made of oak, are cabriole style. The top and the bottom shelf are quarter sawn oak (tiger grain), while the legs are riff sawn. This is a great example of Larkin furniture that filled rooms all across the United States in the late 1800s, and still does today.
