Deacon's Bench - $750.00

Seat from floor -17" x 13" deep x 95 1/2" wide. 32" high.

Here is a Deacon's Bench made of pine and maple that was probably originally used in a New England meeting house. The seat is all one piece of thick pine wood, and the early bench is in its original ivory color worn paint. This bench would be perfect in a country kitchen or on a Farmer's Porch. The piece has spindles on the back and arms with everything in tact and unaltered. The bench has been re-glued for sturdiness, but no other restoration is necessary. This is a clean bench with a great early look and interesting wear. The bench is most likely late 1700s and has withstood the test of time. Don't miss this wonderful find!
