This Eastlake Glider Rocker is made of walnut wood and has an overlay of burled walnut. It has applied carving and incised carving which is often seen during this era. The piece is circa 1880, and has been professionally restored by our team, including the upholstery. The upholstery is an elegant pattern of gold and brown which blends with the color of the wood and is appropriate for the era. It could be used in a parlor setting or in a bedroom. It is a show piece that is made to be used and must be seen to be fully appreciated.
