The gingerbread table clock was commonly found in farmhouses throughout the country during the mid to late 1800's. This Ingraham clock from Bristol, Conn., was probably one of those. It is signed E. Ingraham, Bristol, Conn. U.S.A. on the original face. It chimes on the hour and the half hour and was most likely displayed on a mantle. This clock keeps perfect time and is wound every 7 days. It has been refurbished by our clock expert. It is a good example of what life was like in days past.
