These Bradley and Hubbard Bookends are part of our history. The theme is "The Courtship of Miles Standish" and depicts images of Priscilla and John Alden from the poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, a credit to the poet's Maine heritage. Both bookends are brass, and each is signed by the manufacturer with the B & H mark from the late 19th or early 20th century. Bradley and Hubbard Co. was a prominent manufacturer who thrived at that time and made quality products such as desk sets, lamps, mirrors & ink wells, etc. These bookends are special and can be purchased at BARN ON 26 ANTIQUES in Gray, Maine.
