Here is a Set of 4 Larkin #2 Chairs. These chairs were made by the Larkin Soap Company of Buffalo, New York, at the turn-of-the-20th century. Larkin was a popular maker of fine furniture during that time period, and one of the first to ship items by rail to various depots across the country. They were quite progressive and made items that could be used at many locations, some requiring re-assembly at their final destination. The Larkin #2 chairs were part of their signature chair series, Larkin #1 and Larkin #3, all very popular in affluent Victorian homes. These chairs have been re-glued and the seats have been re-woven to restore them to their original brilliance. Don't miss out on these chairs; they are a big part of our American culture.
