This 3 Stack Bookcase is made of solid quarter sawn oak (tiger grain) and was made in 1900, by the Globe-Wernicke Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. Globe-Wernicke Company originated the patent for the stacking bookcase. They are commonly seen in law offices and libraries, even today. This classic design has withstood the test of time. The unit can be used for books, collectables or as a china closet in your den, library, study or office. Additional sections can be stacked, if needed.
