We have had multiple requests for early benches, and here we have a piece that will fit into a cozy nook. This bench is painted black with a stenciled overlay. The stenciling was probably done during the 1950s when that form of artistry was popular. The piece is reminiscent of the Hitchcock design, but there is no signature to verify the origin. This sweet little bench would be ideal in an entry way or in a country kitchen. It could also be used outdoors in a protected area.
