These wonderful British hunt prints have been beautifully preserved.They are both in a burled frame and protected by glass.They are ready to hang in a library or great room.Each is printed by EAS Douglas, and engraved by E.G. Hester.They are dated 1877, and signed by EAS Douglas.They show horsemen in their full hunt garb on horseback and surrounded by hounds.One is labeled "Morning - Going to Cover" and the other "Evening - Returning to the Kennels.These are a great find, and both are surrounded by a burgundy mat which compliments the scene.This steeplechase tradition is not for the faint of heart and one that is carried on today, especially in European households.
