Here is an unusual pair of snowshoes made for a petite individual, probably a child. These particular snowshoes must be used for decoration only as the leather harness is dry and brittle. However, as a result, these early snowshoes have a wonderful patina, and probably a great history of rugged days in rural Maine. The snowshoes would be a perfect decoration for any cabin in the mountains of Maine.
