Here is a Shaker Style Chair in the ladder back design. This chair is very simple and utilitarian and is a combination of ash and maple wood. The chair is pegged and has double ash stretchers underneath for strength. The only design is the two balls on the top serving as rabbit ears. The cloth webbing is a porch weave pattern and was probably re-done later than the chair. The webbing is tight and sturdy, and this wonderful chair is ready for use.
