Here is a used early Mortar and Pestle that was a necessary piece of equipment in previous pharmacies. This is a country store item from the 1800s. The pieces are made from a hand rubbed softwood to eliminate splinters. This set has wonderful patina and texture that has developed throughout the years. It would be a perfect piece to add to any collection and would make a unique gift.
