This Pine Nursing Rocker got its name because it is armless and low slung. The rocker exudes charm and is made of pine with a caned seat. There is grain painting on the top section and the spindles with a hint of stenciling showing through. The caned seat is in perfect condition and, no doubt, has been redone, but it has taken on a great patina. This rocker has a Maine history and dates from the mid to late 1800s, and is in excellent condition. The rocker is comfortable, with its rolled seat, and can be used today.
