Here is a Morning Glory Pressed Back Rocker with arms. It has 3 spindles under each arm and 7 spindles in the back. There are triple stretchers beneath, giving ample support to the chair. The Morning Glory pattern is pressed onto an elm back and the seat is oak. As is the case with many of these turn-of-the-century chairs, it is a mixed hardwood. Most likely, it was made by the Gardner Chair Company of Gardner, Mass. This rocker would be a relaxing addition to any room in your home or office.
