This Inlaid Schoolhouse Clock is a lovely antique that has been restored by a clock maker. It keeps perfect time and chimes on the hour. This is a charming wall model made by the Welch Clock Company of Forestville, Conn., and has a rosewood case. It is inlaid around the dial and the perimeter of the clock. Welch Clock Company was established in 1864 by Elisha N. Welch, and eventually became the Sessions Clock Company in 1903. There is a label on the interior attesting to its authenticity.
